Regina First Aid offers a variety of different first aid and CPR courses. All first aid and CPR courses are offered through the Lifesaving Society and meet the highest first aid and CPR standards. CPR standards meet the recommendations and standards set by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). ILCOR is the world leader on statistics and analysis of CPR in North America. Candidates will receive the most up to date courses with experienced and informative instructors. All first aid courses include certification and training in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Candidates can have the option of selecting from a variety of CPR level’s to be partnered with the first aid course.
Available First Aid, CPR and AED Courses (Does not include re-certifications):
- Standard first aid, CPR level “C” for health care providers (CPR “HCP”) and AED
- Standard first aid, CPR level “C” and AED
- Standard child care first aid, CPR level “B” and AED
- Wilderness first aid, CPR level “C” and AED
Workplace Approved Lifesaving Society Certification:
When candidates successfully complete the course they will receive a Lifesaving Society first aid, CPR and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years. Course certificate meets government legislative standards and is nationally accredited and valid throughout Canada.

First Aid, CPR and AED courses vary in length depending on the the first aid course, level of CPR and ultimately the instructor. Courses vary in length from 8 hours to 18 hours.
The cost of first aid, CPR and AED courses varies depending on the type of course. Course fee’s include taxes, certification fee’s and workplace approved manual. Price ranges from 80 to 162 dollars.
