At Regina First Aid we also offer food safe training for individuals that work in a position that supervises, manages or directly handles, stores, prepares and transports food and food products. This course meets Saskatchewan requirements for food safe training and participants that complete this course will receive. Participants that successfully complete this course will receive accreditation that meets section 26 of Division 3 of the Saskatchewan Food Safety Regulations for individuals that need food sanitation certification. What is the Course Content?
Participants enrolled in the course will learn about the following:
- Basic food handling / preparing principles
- Proper cleaning and sanitizing methods
- Food-borne illnesses and microbiology related to food safety
- Personal Hygiene
- Pest control
Participants must complete a multiple choice examination at a minimum grade of 70% to successfully complete the course.

Refunds and transfers for the food safety training are not accepted within 72 hours of the course. Prior to this time participants may receive a full refund.
