Standard Childcare First Aid Course Length:

The length of this first aid and CPR course is 18 hours.

Course Cost:

The cost of this course is $134.99. Course fee includes taxes, workplace approved certification fees and workplace approved first aid and CPR manual. At Regina First Aid we offer the most competitive prices in Canada.

Childcare First Aid and CPR Course Content:

Candidates in this course will learn about the following first aid and CPR emergencies:

  • Icing the shoulder with Standard Childcare First Aid Course in Regina
    Participants of standard childcare first aid courses in Regina will learn to manage a variety of different injuries and wounds with various equipment.

    CPR for adult and child victims.

  • Conscious and unconscious obstructed adult and child victims (choking).
  • Respiratory emergencies including asthma, hyperventilation, aspiration and anaphylaxis.
  • Circulatory emergencies (includes heart attacks, angina, transient ischemic attacks and strokes).
  • Deadly bleeding.
  • Head and neck injuries.
  • Broken bones and fractures.
  • Sudden Medical Emergencies
  • Environmental Emergencies
  • Shaking Baby Syndrome
  • Child Birth
  • Diabetic Emergencies (including hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia)
  • Seizures
  • Poisonings
  • Automated external defibrillator (AED) training.

Workplace Approved Certification:

Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive a workplace approved standard childcare first aid, CPR and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years. This certificate is nationally accredited and valid throughout Canada. Course and certification meets government and legislative standards for first aid training. Regina First Aid offers a simple, secure and convenient registration process. To register for a standard childcare first aid and CPR course candidates can choose a course from the selection below. Candidates can choose by location, date and time. Fill out the registration form and prepay to guarantee yourself a spot in the course. Candidates have the option of paying by credit card or debit card through our secure registration system. CPR Level Options:

Candidates do not have an option of selecting any other CPR level other than level “B”.

No Pressure:

At Regina First Aid we have a “no pressure” policy. If you do not complete the course the first time you can re-take the course at no extra cost. We understand that students learn through a variety of different methods and speeds. Our instructors are patient and our program allows for candidates to re-take the class.

Refunds or Cancellations:

Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the course. Transfers are charged 25 dollars within 72 hours of the course. Prior to this time refunds and transfers are free of charge.
