Health care provider CPR and AED is the most comprehensive level of CPR training available with Regina First Aid. We offer re-certification courses for individuals with current awards that want to renew. No first aid re-certification is included in this program as it is a stand-alone CPR and AED course. This course takes approximately 4 hours to complete and provides successful participants with a certificate valid for 3 years immediately upon completion.
What are the Course Requirements?
In order to be eligible for this re-certification course you must meet the following prerequisites:
- Participants must have a current CPR HCP certificate
- Previous certification must have been issued by a credible Canadian provider such as the Canadian Red Cross, St Mark James Training, Lifesaving Society, St. Johns Ambulance or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
- Previous certificate must be issued with a Canadian provider. Awards provided outside of Canada are ineligible for re-certification.
If you do not meet these prerequisites you must re-take the “full” CPR “HCP” and AED course.
Participants that complete the class will get a workplace and provincially approved CPR level HCP card. This certificate is current for three years and meets several workplace and academic requirements.
