Standard First Aid & CPR

Emergency First Aid & CPR

This 2-day long course provides a more comprehensive lecture and training of the various aspects of first and CPR. It is recommended for individuals who need an in-depth understanding of first aid such as: medical emergencies, medical/legal aspects, heat or cold injuries, spinal injuries, chest and abdominal injuries, bone and joint injuries, and burns. You might need to complete the basic first aid course in order to be considered for this training. After completion of the course, you will get certified for Emergency First Aid.

Advanced First Aid: Lifesaving AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and CPR

This one-day training course supplements and builds on the participants CPR skills. It also includes modules on how to use automated external defibrillator (AED) in victims of sudden cardiac arrest.  Moreover, it provides an in-depth discussion on circulatory emergencies infants, children and adults. Participants are also trained at single-rescuer and two-rescuer CPR. A certification is granted after the examination is passed. It stays current for 2 years.

First aid for Health Care Provider

This training course is the most advanced of all the courses offered by first aid training institutions. It provides technical lecture and training for health care professionals such as doctors, nurses and paramedics. Modules include assessment and treatment of circulatory emergencies, CPR in the healthcare setting, oxygen administration, choking procedures for infants, children and adults; and the use of BVMs and AEDs. For emergency medical technicians and first responders, a different training course may be used.
