Man died after crash on Main-A-Dieu road

A 34-year old Main-a-Dieu man died after a motor vehicular accident. The Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a single vehicular accident around 12:30 AM around the civic address 295 Main-a-Dieu road.

They found a Mazda RX-8 off the road with significant damage. There was a woman performing CPR on a man who appeared to be ejected from the vehicle. Sadly, the man was later declared dead.

The Emergency Health Services assisted with the incident and the issue is currently under investigation by the police traffic safety unit. The police are asking the general public to come forward for any information regarding the incident.
