Man who died after crashing small plane given CPR

The pilot of a small plane that crashed in Nelson, B.C. was given CPR. Sadly, the man died. The 57-year old pilot from Trail, B.C., was able to inform the RCMP officials earlier in the day via cellphone that he suffered a broken leg and other injuries but was unable to tell him where he was.

Unforeseen crash

The authorities started a ground and air search of an area near Marsden Road and Highway 3A. The search was hampered by low cloud cover, dense brush and steep terrain.
