Surrey driver who crashed into tree given CPR

A Surrey driver who crashed into a tree due to cardiac arrest was given CPR. A vehicle drove into a tree in Surrey and a man was found unconscious inside the vehicle.

The emergency crews responded to reports of a car that crashed into a tree. Upon arrival of the crews, they found the driver suffering from full cardiac arrest. The Surrey Fire who arrived first at the scene started CPR on the victim.

The paramedics treated the victim before he was quickly transported to Royal Columbian Hospital. The man is in serious condition.

According to a witness at the scene, the crash might have been the result of a medical issue since the damage to the vehicle is not consistent with the high-impact collision. Nevertheless, a witness did say that Surrey RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team arrived at the scene after the collision.
