Two injured in horse incident given first aid

Two people were given first aid after the horse incident. The incident occurred when a horse left its stall and travelled onto a fairgrounds’ roadway just after 4:30 PM after a cattle-penning show inside the Livestock Barns.

Unforeseen ordeal with a horse

According to Pacific National Exhibition, the horse got loose from its stall and travelled into the Miller Drive area of the fairgrounds and knocked down two guests. One of the guests walked to the first aid area and was taken to Burnaby General Hospital while the other guest was taken awake and alert to Vancouver General Hospital.

The fair stated that the horse was caught and was unharmed in the incident.
