Worker saved a man’s life with CPR

A worker named Moony Matthew saw an elderly man collapse at the Toronto Pearson International Airport and without any vital signs. She had two options. If she provides proper cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the man, he will get back his life and if I will not provide help he can’t get his life back or just die. Matthew works with Global Aviation Services which is a ground handling service company outside of Pearson. She has two children and a nurse in India before moving to Canada.

An elderly man was getting off a Turkish Airlines plane and collapse along the bridge. Matthew rushed to the man bringing along a wheelchair. His wife and other companions were holding him. The man was not breathing and did not have any pulse. She immediately performed CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on the man before the paramedics finally arrived with a defibrillator.

According to Matthew her heroic actions is from God that gave her the confidence to perform CPR in a moment’s notice.

The victim is an elderly man living in Montreal and suffered a cardiac arrest. The quick response of Matthew probably saved his life. The elderly man was brought to the hospital for further treatment and was given a pacemaker. A pacemaker is a small machine placed on the abdomen or in the chest to control abnormal rhythms of the heart. It uses electrical pulses to make the heart beat at a normal rate.

Matthew remained calm and collected during the emergency situation and just acted as if she was saving the life of a loved one. She knew that within 3 minutes of not able to breath, the man will probably not recover and result to brain damage. According to Matthew her heroic actions is from God that gave her the confidence to perform CPR in a moment’s notice.

For her efforts the Turkish Airlines presented her with a gift. She was given a $200 prepaid Visa gift card and a thank-you letter. The airline station manager thanks for her behavior and quick response on the scene and it was very important to respond on time and that was she did and the result was positive. Matthew was responsible and did not hesitate to act.
