Eskasoni man died despite CPR attempts

An Eskasoni man was declared dead despite CPR. The RCMP are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Eskasoni. The RCMP responded to a call at a residence on Mini Mall Drive and found a 33-year old Eskasoni man with serious injuries.

Prompt intervention

The man who was unresponsive was later declared dead at the scene after CPR attempts by paramedics were unsuccessful. Two males were taken into custody at the scene.

According to RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Lisa Croteau, the men remain in custody but they have not been charged yet. It is unclear whether the 2 males knew the man who died.

Casey Jones Prosper who was a friend of the deceased man stated that he was a good person and will be missed.
